Hourly Chime
The buzzer sounds during the first minute of every hour, like a school bell.

How it works
When the minute is 0, the buzzer is on. Move the minute slider to 0 to hear it.

Every wire, one by one
Red rail = 5 V from the Arduino 5V pin. Black rail = GND. The coloured wires carry signals. Match the wire colours on the drawing to this list.

In the real world
A bell that rings
When the program decides it is time (or something happens) the buzzer rings and the beacon flashes in the real room.
Tip: use the gold tab at the bottom of the circuit drawing to pull the real-world view up over the Arduino board. Your parts stay visible above it, so you can press a button and watch the real scene react.
